Maria Gabriela de Faria is an award-winning, 25-year-old Venezuelan actress and singer.

DeFaria’s career has been a lucky one, with each of her series becoming huge successes across Latin America: She most recently starred as “Franky” in the Nickelodeon’s hit series “Yo Soy Franky”, and “Zaita” in season two of Fox Telecolombia’s acclaimed period drama “Sitiados”. She starred as “Juana” in RTI / Televisa’s series “La Virgen de la Calle” (the basis for US hit series “Jane The Virgin”), as “Mia” in Nick LatAm’s hit series “Grachi”, and as “Isa” in Nickelodeon’s global hit “Isa TKM”, which spawned legions of shrieking adolescent Maria Gabriela de Faria fans (“Isa-Mania” as coined by The Los Angeles Times) who still idolize her today. She is currently filming her first big US series, Image Comics/Sony/SyFy’s “Deadly Class”, due out in 2019.

De Faria has been nominated for eleven Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, winning seven assorted “Favorite Actress”, “Favorite Villain” and “Favorite Character” 2010 and 2016. She was nominated for “Favorite Latin Star” in the US Kid’s Choice Awards in 2016.

Her first feature film, “El Paseo 2” with John Leguizamo, opened #1 in Colombia on Dec 25, 2012. “Crossing Point”, her second film (and first in English), was released earlier this year. Out soon is the effects-heavy Colombian film “Pacifico”, and out now is her fourth film, the Videocine rom-com “Plan V”.
